what does the field "DATE" represent, if it's not a save-time and not a plot-time ==> whatfor is it needed or whatfor is it designed? In the help I have not found it.

I use it in out TB. But the first time the drawing is issued, we convert it in to static text. I don't want it to change every time the drawing is  plotted or saved. I want it to represent the issue date. The plot date is a separate field in our custom plot stamp.
