Understanding Bands

Hi:

I am new in banding so I would like to learn how to create them and editing them.

I am sending a Word document, highlighting the the edits that I am looking for.

Thanks in advance:

Rafael:

A majority of "scribes" in the NG will not open a
.doc file due to the possibility of a virus contamination.  A .png or a
.jpg file is preferred and please NO  ".bmp" file.

So:

1.  I don't think you can label in a band if
you have no line (data) above.

2.  The chainage increment is in the "Profile
view style" on the Horizontal Axes tab.

3.  The label you want to get rid of is a
little difficult.  One is expecting existing ground elev. and the other is
final grade profile elev.

Hi Bill:

Thank you very much. Anyway I can figure out that you opened the .doc file. So the label that I am talking about in the left of the profile is a label describes the values along the profile in the horizontal axe. In this case it would be "Existing ground elevations"

Thanks in advance

Rafael
