unable to add AECC Contour

I have a drawing given to me by a surveyor with aecc contour and aecc point data. I have created a TIN surface and attempted to add the contours to the surface, yet C3D is telling me 0 contours selected. I am running C3D 2011 64bit. The drawing I opened is a Land Desktop drawing. When I selected the contours in C3D and view the properties it says it's a AECC Contour object, but when I try to add it through the Prospectors - > Surfaces -> Contours I see the following message in the text window "Select Contours; 0 found" So I am unable to add this data to the surface. Anything else I should/can do?

Thanks

Explode the Aecc contours. They should become polylines which you can then add as contours.

Hi anniesball72-

You can explode those AECC contours and then add them to your surface or you can import the Land Desktop data via the IMPORTLDTDATA command.

Hope this helps!
