Tying contours into existing surfaces

Does anyone know if you can manipulate contours generated by feature lines in order to show a smooth transition to the existing surface?

Without seeing what you are really doing it sounds like you may be able to draw another feature line (FL) along the tie in line (or intersection) of the two surfaces. Assign elevations from the EG surface to the new FL and add it to your FG surface.

The model requires an accurately defined daylight to the intersecting surface - there is no fudging. If the accuracy of the model is inconsequential to you - draw the contour you wish add to surface but do no display the surface
