Two questions about Survey COGO points and databases

Hi-

Question 1: Is it possible to change a Survey COGO point to a regular COGO point so you can edit the datum?

If not,

Question 2: Is it possible to transfer the survey database from one office to another so the end office can make datum changes to the survey COGO points.  Will the link between the file and the database still apply?

Thanks so much for you help!

Points brought in from a database are locked.  You can change the datum by unlocking the points, then importing points from drawing back into the database.  To move the database, just cut and paste the folder that is created when creating the database.

Meredith,

See also this thread for more information about survey points and their relationships to drawings and databases.

Hope this helps.
