Turn off event viewer?

Is there a way to to filter the types of events that the event viewer displays, or turn it off entirely? It is constantly telling me that my corridor is out of date and may be out of sync with other objects, which I am keenly aware of. I'm not sure what the point of turning off auto-re-build on the corridor to save time is if the event viewer is going to bog you down anyway by pointing out that you need to re-build.

Great! Thanks!

Is there a command-line command to do this? It appears to follow the drawing, rather than be a system setting so I'd like some way to have it be set for every drawing I open.

what do you do if the option to show the event viewer is greyed out and can't be overridden?
