Trimble Link ERROR MESSAGE on Export

Hello, 

 

I'm using ACAD Civil 3D 2014 on a 64 Bit system and I recently had my computer hard drive replaced, now I'm trying to re-install all my old software and I'm having trouble with Trimble Link. 

 

I installed the program as I had before and when I open ACAD it appears along the top as it's supposed to. However, when I click on the Export XXX I recieve an error message: 

 

"Full access is required to the HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Trimble.RemoteDeviceManager.XMSurveyController registry key"

 

I went through the process of registering and I recieved a number key but I must have entered something in incorrectly when prompted. How can I find the register this product or what not and fix this error. 

 

I also need to set up a data card which I've forgotten how to do. 

 

Any help is appreciated.
