Transition

In LDD, the transition of gutter line can be achieved by "Cross section > Design Control > Alignment or Profile". While in Civil 3D, how to assign alignments to apply transition region in order to control gutter line or edge of pavement (I know ROW is easy to be associated with an alignment)? How to set the sub-assembly parameter to build a corridor with transition requirement?

Check out some webcasts on the subject (tons) and some great Autodesk
University papers on the subject.

At AU Online, you can register to view last year's classes, but better yet
download the papers. It is free to sign up and you didn't have to go.

http://auonline.mentorware.net

See attached screen capture for some to try.

Bottom line- SO MUCH EASIER than LDT. You add transistion lanes to your
assembly.

I lied. It is free for attendees and subscription customers. I could SWEAR
it was free to everyone just a few months ago. But then again... I am a bit
crazy.
