Transfering Expressions to New Drawings

I have an expression that I've created to truncate Northing and Easting for point tables.  For some reason, I seem to have to recreate it every time I make a new drawing (eventhough I created it in the template).  Also, when I go back to the template, I can't seem to find it there (after saving and closing).

Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong?

Thanks,

Is the expression applied within a label style in the template? If not try assigning the Expression to a specific

Label Style & test in a new dwg created from dwt.

Not sure it matters but we have several expressions (all also in use by a style) in our Template and they never

need to be recreated when starting a dwg from that dwt.

Worth mentioning, none of ours happen to be in the Point Label category.
