Training requirements for LDT 2004 users

I am compiling a list of training requirements to update Land Desktop 2004 users to Civil 3D 2012. Of course they will need training on all of Civil 3D. They will also need to be updated on the enhancements to Autocad and Map since 2004.

Below is my current list of key Autocad/Map enhancements that they will need to learn. Are there any others that I am missing? As most don't do 3D modeling or drafting those features can be ignored for now.

Autocad enhancements

                                Dynamic Blocks

                                Fields

                                Sheet Set Manager

                                Annotation Scale

                                Ribbon, Workspaces, CUI, User Interface

                                Tables

                                Plot styles per viewport

                                Dimensions, Multi-leaders

                                Arrays

                                Parametric constraints

                                DWF, DGN, PDF underlays

                                Plotting

                Map Enhancements

                                FDO

                                Display Manager

That is a very helpful table Alfred.Thanks.

Would you know of any similar tables for Map?

Hi,

>> Would you know of any similar tables for Map?

Sorry no, but the modifications of Map are reduced to FDO and within FDO it started to have first readonly-connections, then more and more providers have editable connections (+ more and more providers); with 2011 (I think) we got overlaying and with 2012 it's the stylization that has learned a lot; last but not least for 2013 you have the layout-functionality for assigning different maps to different viewports (including the legend-table and automatic north-arrows).

Hoping I haven't forgotten to much 😉
