Total Volume for Materials on Profile Views - Not Working

As anyone tried to use the total volume selection when adding material volumes to a profile view...

 

Doesnt seem to work for me.. Everytime i select it the box justs goes back to blank.. I have tried this for Surfaces Materials and Corridor Shapes. to no avail..
