Toolbox report preferences

I like the .txt format using Parcel Map Check Report under Toolspace>Reports Manager>Parcel. It's very consice and file size is small, anyone can open it with a text editor. However, the defualt for this report is .html that opens in a web browser and is not as compact, too many spaces between lines. Is there a way to change the default for the file output so I don't have to pick.txt everytime?

Edit: Now that I look at it, there are also a bunch of extra " marks in the .txt version that don't need to be there. It would be nice to get rid of those.

Seeing that the report is .NET type I think it is all hard coded and you would need to change each report type individually.

I am also wanting to change some settings, but know nothing about VBA. I was wondering if there was a way  (and how to do it) to modify the Parcel Map Check Report so that the company, company name etc. in the header ca be filled in so that I do not need to to it every time. Does anyone know of a way eother inside of civil 3d or through a vba editor.
