Toolbars fail to resize

Windows 7. AutoCAD Civil3D r13 and 14.

Yes the toolbars are unlocked and even when they are locked using the ctrl key still will not alow me to resize. This used to work but now for some reason will not anymore. Any ideas as to why?

Have you tried it with a different profile current?

Yes tried different profile. I can resize the propspector and properties windows but any floating toolbar like the dimension I can't. When I say resize I mean stack from a single row of icons to a double or triple.

 Hi there,

The toolbar seemed to reset to its original size if you use the existing / default toolbar.

Try creating a duplicate of the toolbar and resize. It seemed to work.

C3D2014 - I can resize the Dimension toolbar just fine. Although the sizing arrows are quite small and tricky to click at the right time.

Yes my co-worker can stack his too. Mine will not for some odd reason. I can see the outline of what the resulting stack would look like when draggin the corner but don't get the desired result.

Lim I tried the duplicate thing too. Still will not work. This is going on in both 2013 and 2014 C3D.

Hi,

Can you try to load the cui attached to this post?

That will give a clue whether there's something amiss with your C3D.

If should load like the one in my video. Else, I'd suggest initiating a secondary installer

Do you have your toolbar inside the drawing space or outside the extents of the program? I found that I couldn't stack my toolbars when they were on my second monitor. I dragged them into the drawing space, stacked them, and dragged them back onto the second monitor: worked fine that way.

Thank you that worked perfect.
How crazy that it doesn't stack on the second monitor
