THEMATIC RELIEF MAP

Hello,

I am using Civil 3D 2014.

I need a "Thematic Map" display to show a surface relief in plan like the attached image.  Is there a style in Civil 3D that will generate this kind of 3d relief for a plan view surface display?

Well, the image you posted is definetely NOT a thematic map, sir.

"Thematic" means "stylized on a OD basis", i.e. according to the Gis attributes.

What you're after is a render-like view, so type the _-SHADEMODE command in, then try the _Gouraud suboption.
