Anyone seen this one before?

New install of C3D 2007 with SP2 installed.

just wondering if maybe the install got buggered. Tried a repair but it
didn't help the situation.

What are you trying to do when that pops up?

Trying to create a new survey database...

It does that for the Equipment Database as well...it should also be noted
that the sample ones don't show up either....which is what is making me
think the install is hosed.

Make sure you have write access or "power user" rights to the machine you
are on. Also make sure you have write access to the "project" folder
(default is C:\Civil 3D projects\), as this is where the Local Survey
databases are created. Sounds like it may just be a permissions issue.

I thought that too and checked but we set every user to have Admin rights on
their own machine.

Thanks for the idea though.

I appreciate it, Nick. I'm going to try uninstalling and reinstalling the
whole thing tonight and see what happens then. I'll let you all know.

Ok, Tried the uninstall and then a reinstall. Still no good.

I tried copying a survey database folder and files over to the Projects
directory but that didn't help either. The survey database show up but when
you try to open it you get the same error.

I'm going to drop this to the Subscription Support folks and see what
happens.
