So it's a warning and not an error?  This is a very important distinction to make.  If it's a warning, there could be nothing wrong with the model.  If it's an error, then there probably is.

Expand the eerror; which subassembly is it referring to?  Is is an offset or elevation error?  If it's an alignment warning, then you probably have width targets set, but those targets don't exist for the entire length of the alignment and that's no problem.

Are you actually seeing something wrong with the corridor?  No, then it's likely not a problem.

I edited my alignment to include more area

I then wanted to update the corridor to include this

rebuild didn't seem to change it

so I went to create a simple corridor

I pick the alignment

then the profile then the assembly

the event viewer comes up with a red error and says on description target object not found Target DTM

keep in mind we jumped from 2005 to 2010 it's somewhat like starting over

so I'm new at this but determined to learn it

thanks for the help

Are one of your subassemblies suppose to be targeting a surface? Is a surface assigned in the Target dialog for the region(s) producing the errors?

So that means that you have not set a surface target.  Probably for your daylight or something.
