Tags in parcel

I have two parcels in a single site.

But when editing the labels want to renumber the tags of According to the corners of the parcels. Independently of a parcel and another parcel.

Example:

002.png

Parcel A (L1, L2, L3, L4)

Parcel B (L1, L2, L3, L4, L5)

But elude this Parcel B with tags (L5, L6, L7, L8, L9). A continuation of the numbering of the tag

They have to be on separate sites in order to do this.  You can't have duplicate tag numbers on the same site.

To subdivide the parcels, is need on the same site. But I want to know if there is any other way to achieve this result without using tags.

After you've created the tags you can renumber them and specify to Create Duplicate numbers:

Forgot about that one Jeff.  It's Monday and I've had only a half cup of coffee so far.  Thanks for the catch!

I am not contradicting what Jeff has said but am questioning your use of the "L?" tag.  In your drawing, for instance, L7 represents the length and bearing of a line, which you already have labeled.  L7 is not a corner point.

Tags are used to make a table.

Bill, my guess is that this is a plat which is being referenced in a description which uses the tags to denote which line is being called. I've seen a few surveyors around here use a similar method.

Thanks Jeff

I think I will go and re-paint some of my old paint buckets.

Exactly Jeff. It's just a description.

Thanks

My site has many parcels. the only way is to do it one by one.

Yes, one by one. Can't even make a program to automate it as the Tags are not exposed to any of the API's.
