I have been trying to bring the toolspace palette that contains the Survey tab into my drawings but can not find any documentation explaining where it can be found or any settings features to use it. I do not have a Home tab showing up either. The "opensurveytoolspace" command is unknown to the system. How can I open and use the toolspace palette with the survey tab?
Perhaps you are opening "AutoCAD Civil 3D as AutoCAD" in stead of "Autocad Civil 3D 2???".
You could give more information such as:
You product version?
Did you EVER have the Home Tab?
Bill
I am using Version D.309.0.0 Version 4
I have never had the "Home" tab show up and I am loading AutoCaD Civil 3D 2010.
The command is actually AeccOpenSurveyToolspace. If that is an unknown command, then most likely it is because you are using "Civil 3D as Autocad". Either that, or you got your Profile messed up.
If the AeccOpenSurveyToolspace command works, then you probably don't have a Home tab on the Ribbon because you are in a different workspace. Try switching to the "Civil 3D" workspace.
