Survey Database is not readable

Hi All,

Sorry if this has been asked befor but I cannot find a solution on the forums.

One of my users is getting the following error when creating a survey database.

It always stops at the same size?

Hoe do we resolve this?

The user has full access as well.

Hi Stephen,

It seems the issue is permission related. Could you set Working Folder to a different location, preferably your local machine where user has full rights and see if that's the case. If user doesn't have any problem reading it then most likely it's permissions. Ask you IT to give you full rights to that folder. Other thing you can try is to create a new survey DB on the same folder and see if the identical issue is present.

Also, can you see the Survey.SDBX file and it's properties?

No, the issue is not of permissions. And I am facing this problem in version 2014 as well. Exact same error. I can't use Civil 3D properly as a result of that. Kindly suggest some solution.

You might try re-installing .NET and SQL

Super double check the permissions, C3D installs must have administrative right with read / write access.
