Surface Table Range Volume error

Hi,
after some assistance in the surface data table please. I have created a TIN volume surface from a comparison between 2 surfaces. I then create a surface level data table to show specific level ranges with the associated areas and what i thought were associated volumes but the volumes are in no way related to the ranges!

Does anybody have any idea on how to correct this issue?Ragne Volume Table.JPG

It can't be corrected as it is reporting correctly albeit in a weird way....!!!!

The volumes are correct but the areas cannot be directly related to them as the areas relate to annular areas only; see here

Neilyj,

Thanks for replying but the previous explanation is a little confusing..

The areas shown in my example are correct just not the volumes are incorrect, I have tried to reconcile but have come up empty handed.

the range 0.03  - 0.09(line 2) should have a volume of 7m³ not 201.703, (line 3) the range 0.09 - 0.16 should have a volume of 34m³ and not the 207.242 shown.

I caclulated these buy boundary method on the volume dashboard.

If you could elaborate further that would be appreciated.

Andrew

Can you post your dwg?

How have you created the boundaries to use the boundary method on the dashboard?
