Surface Masking

I'm using 2009 and I'm having issues with surface masking. I'm trying to mask 3 buildings and it will only let me do one. I think I'm doing everything right but it just won't work. Right clicking on masks then create mask. Select my buildings (closed polylines). Mask type inside. OK. and nothing happens. If I only select one building it works just fine. Anyone know what might be going on?

Thanks,

Sheila

You have to do it for each building at the time.

One at a times doesn't work either seeing as you can only make one mask. I didn't want to do it this way but I used boundaries instead.

You can create a mask from a continuous polyline around all of the buildings. the lines connecting the buildings should be 0.001 apart.

It is a little more tedious, but the end result will be what you want.
