Surface Label Display Size

I'm having trouble with my spot elevation surface labels - they show up fine/at the correct size in paperspace, but they are extremely tiny in model space.

Is there a way that I can have them display at a given size in model space, and the corresponding size in paperspace?

Example: my text height for the current surface label is 2.50mm, which works fine in paperspace - that's the size that I'd like it to plot at. The problem is, that since I'm modelling an entire Hawaiian island, I can't read the surface labels in model space, since they still display at 2.54mm (on an island 80km across).

Anyone have some suggestions?

goto the drawing settings and change the drawing scale to match your ps
viewport scale.

Doesn't seem to have any effect on the label size - any other ideas?

Did you regen?

That really should take care of it. If not, have you verified that you're
changing the style that you intend to change and are using the style you
intended to use, etc?
