Surface disapeared in Civil 3D

Hello All,

I have a surface in Civil 3D which when I opened today is not displaying. All it shows is to border of the surface. I know the surface is there because it is still listed under prospector view and the points are still there. I have tried all the usual things; checked contour layers is on, checked contour interval etc. Can anyone help? Screen shot below:

I had this issue yesterday, i deleted the border from the surface and my contours came back. it was a small surface so instead of attaching a border, i manually eddited the surface to end were i wanted. I know this is not an answer as to the why, but i hope it helps.

Thanks,

Dave

Thanks,
Dave

You have Level Of Detail switched on which may be the culprit.....

Thanks for the replies everyone. Will try these things at work tomorrow and let you know how I get on. I opened the file on my home PC and can see the surface no problem. So its not the file thats the problem.

Neilyj,

Problem solved - was the level of detail. Turned it off and surface re-appeared. Thanks all.
