I'm trying to create a 3dsolid of a concrete mud slab to fit in a dee rock crevase. I have a surface and a 3d soild and I want to remove the overhang from my 3d soild.

Any ideas?
Solved! Go to Solution.
Here you go, see attachment.
This may not be the best solution, but works well.
1. Set your tin surface to show triangles only.
2. Explode, you get block.
3. Explode again to get 3D faces.
4. CONVTOSURFACE and select all 3D faces to create surfaces.
5. UNION and select all 3D surfaces to get single one.
6. SLICE your solid by choosing Surface.
Cheers!
Pretty much what markkco posted:
If you want to keep the Surface. Make sure you explode a copy of it.

Better yet, just extract the TIN, it will come in as 3dfaces, no exploding required.
