Subassembly Composer Crash on deleting Parameter - TEST!

Maybe i am going crazy. Can someone please try this and confirm

Civil 3D 2014 - Subassembly Composer

  1. Open Subassembly Composer
  2. Create one Parameter
  3. Rename it to "links" and change it to "string type"
  4. Give it a default value
  5. Try and Delete the Parameter.
  6. Does application freeze and become unresponsive?? I have tried on 5 computers in my office all of them freeze!

Same here in SAC2013, it happend a week ago, also a spooky grid in flowshart after copy or delete objects, guess a windows update has messed things up.

Before you attempt to delete the parameter save the file & exit SAC.  When you repoen, you'll be able to delete it.

I know it's not a fix but it'll at least allow you to delete it as needed.

To add onto doni49's workaround;

As long as you haven't changed the name of any Input/Output Parameters you can delete a parameter. But if you rename any parameter you can't delete any parameter (this work session) without freezing up the system.

For example you add a new parameter: "parameter11" and change it to a Double, give it a default value of 3,00. Now you can still decide to delete it without freezing up the system. But as soon as you change the name, it will freeze. The same will happen if you change any of your other parameters names of trying to delete parameters.
