Stuck with dynamic block with attributes

I am trying to make a dynamic block with the rotate function and I am having no luck.

I have the attributes locked.

When moving the rotate grip the angle changes but the text does not rotate.

I am stumped.

If you want to rotate the text, I think your block definition is correct.

Use BATTMAN command to update the existing block references or insert a new one and try to rotate that block.

Also you are in the wrong forum section ,there is a forum dealing with Dynamic block

The dynamic functions will not effect attributetext. You can trick it i think using two ways.

Use dummy lineart in conjunction with constraints however these may zap the block / file size..

Or.

Add an attribute then Mtext with field linked to the attribute value. Now hide the attribute and show the text. add the text to the rotate function.

Test.

This should work but the text will need a regen to update after adjusting the attribute text.
