I have a pipe network where some structures are
located at intersections. I have profiles for each road leading from the
intersections. My structures and pipes appear on the appropriate
profiles. I'd like to label the stations of the structures based on the
profile in which the structure appears.
For example, take a look at the pipes.jpg you 'll
see 3 alignments and 2 structures. The lower structure is at station
roughly 3+075 on the east-west alignment (Road 3), and 0+121 on the north-south
alignment (Road 1). The structure is associated to Road 1, so the labels
on both alignments' profiles show 0+121. I'd prefer to show 0+121 on the
Road 1 profile, but have 3+075 on the Road 3 profile.
I selected the structure label on the Road 3
profile, right clicked and chose, "Label Properties", set the reference
alignment to Road 3 (reference alignment.jpg) clicked OK and expected this to
give me what I want.
It didn't. Now, am I getting the procedure
wrong? Is this method supposed to work? Or can I even do
this?
Thanks,
