Stationing text & ticks...

How do I add ticks to stationing text?  I want the major stationing to read "1+00", "2+00", etc., with a tick.  I want minor stationing to have just a tick with no text.

Thanks.

Are you using a template file?  Most of the template files straight out of the box have styles set up to accomodate what you want.  If your style is "STANDARD", then you are not using a template.  Use the _AutoCAD Civil 3D (Imperial) NCS.dwt, located at C:\Users\[user name]\AppData\Local\Autodesk\C3D 2012\enu\Template.

You need to add a block component to your major station label style. You can refer to the OOTB templates as previously suggested or take a look at the attached drawing. It includes a major station style with text and ticks and a minor station style with ticks only.
