Station tracker does not run on section view ?

As expected when you move on plan view you see the position on your sectrion view.

Why the opposite does not run (or al least in my case it does not)

Any idea ? Bug ?

Thanks

Maybe I don't understand your question.

Are you saying that the Station Tracker on plan view does not move as you change station in section view but that if you move the station tracker on the plan view, the section view updates?

It works correctly for me.

I occasionally see what I think is the same thing.  In a very complex drawing with many alignments and profiles, Station Tracker is somewhat erratic.  If I have my cursor (crosshairs) on or next to an alignment and I activate Station Tracker, Station Tracker will not show the indicator line on the profile for that alignment.

But if instead I move the crosshairs to the profile, then Station Tracker will correctly show the indicator line on the alignment.  I can repeat this reliably in that drawing.

For other drawings and other alignments, Station Tracker works correctly whether I start with the crosshairs on the profile, or with the crosshairs on the alignment.

Jeff, what if you wait a long time. Does the station tracker eventually appear?

Thanks everybody.

I think you dont understand my question.... (maybe my english....)

OK, the question is:

You have a station "selected", you have a line (the tracker)

-You move the mouse in plan view along the station and  you view a line in both profile view and section view.

-You move the mouse in profile view and you see a circle in section view.

- You move the mouse in section view and you see NOTHING. I'd expect to see a circle in both plan & profile views .

Thanks

Let me apologize. I thought you were asking about Section Slider. Even if your English isn't perfect, I should have been able to understand that part. 😉

Now that I am looking at Station Tracker, yes, I am getting the same results you describe. It's either a defect or "as designed." If you have subscription you can log it as a tech support issue or you could post to the wishlist group.

Best regards,

Tim
