Station labels

I'm setting up a new template to match an new client's requirements.  I have an alignment that I'm trying to station.  The alignment is 905 feet long and is draw as such.  My starting station is 10+00.  Why am I getting the end station to be 10+75.42?  (75.42 x 12 = 905).  What obvious setting am I missing???

Sounds like your units may be set to INCHES.

Yes!  Exactly.  So obvious!  Thank you!  Don't know why I didn't think to look.

Since Inches isn't a standard option within the templates supplied with Civil 3D, you may want to review the source of the template you're building.

Feet and Meters are the standard Drawing Units: choices.

However, the drawing units will report Inches when an architectural dwg is opened in Civil 3d.
