Station Character in 2008

Is the Middle Center of the Station Charater supposed to miss the intersection?

Oops, trigger finger a little happy today...forgot to attached the image.

I highlighted the Label (only a station Charater) with Zero Offset.

This happens because the station character is a plus "+" in a font. That
character's insertion point is not exactly at the intersection of the plus.

1. Change font to Arial as this font's plus is very close to the
intersection.
2. Move the location of the plus (within the style) up or down as needed to
get it very close..

Or just have the program draw two little lines 1/8" long each and anchor
them as needed. It's not a good answer, but it's easy to do.

Thanks, guys. It never crossed my mind that the center of the Plus sign would miss the actual location until we Xref'd a prior Land Desktop drawing and the labels locations didn't match.

Oops, at least I haven't done that many new roads with it...

Problem with that, James is that if the station character is used as the
anchor for the other components, it can't be made plan-readable because the
2 lines block is not text.

Too bad a Point Marker can't be used...
