Split profile view - can't snap to sampled profiles

Subject pretty much says it all... any fix to this?  I can't snap to intersect/end point of my SAMPLED (not design) profile.  If I create a new profile view that is not split, I can snap end/intersection.  I can snap nearest on both.

Same behavior here with Civil 3d 2012 SP3.

Can snap to a XG profile on one side of a split pfl view but not both sides.

Don't know why but for whatever reason Endpoint, Nearest, & Intersection snaps won't work on one side.

I don't split profile views, but I've had this too.  Very tough to deal with.

We just discovered this issue too.  I figured out that if we split a profile view into 4 sections I can snap without a problem.  Once we add a 5th section we cannot snap to anything within the 5th section.  I know this is years later, but do you recall if this was your issue as well?
