SP1 Network Deployment

It seems that when you modify an admin image of
Civil 3D 2007 w/ SP1 you lose the ability to apply a patch ever again. You can
modify any other part of the admin image but when you select the MSI file the
dialog box no longer depicts the fields/buttons to apply patches or
SP's.

I read Jon's post in the SP1a Released thread
below.

Can I rebuild the Admin Image with the same name
from the CD and the apply SP1. I think I tried this with LDT a few releases back
& had to reinstall on all clients because the Admin Image did not match the
client's record.

Can any of this be confirmed or denied before I
dive in.

I'm sure you took note of the thread
entitled "C3D 07 SP1A unable to slipstream into deployment image" started by
Lisa Pohlmeyer John.

Seems the dwg format revision wasn't
the only new "feature" to hit the streets.

😮
