Soil Boring w/ Map Trick?

I hear that there is a blog post somewhere and/or an AU article explaining how to create surfaces from soil boring data.

Can someone point me in the right direction on finding that how-to?

Since you mentioned Map in the post title, this may be what you want.

What I'm looking to do is take a point or some other object that I can tack soil boring data onto. Then I want to be able to create sub-surfaces from the soild boring data.

THANKS!

These things are done as part of a point group and an MDB file.

Create a point group and go to the overrides tab. Start clicking around in
there, you'll figure it out pretty fast.
