I have a simple surface with slope labels that will not delete. They move and grip edit just fine, they just won't go away! I searched the forums a bit and didn't find any others with this situation. Work around: set the label style visibility to false and use a copy of the style with final desired labels to finish the job.
Audit doesn't find any errors, an open and close doesn't solve it either.
