Slope label text no showing in different surfaces

Dear All,

 

For some very weird reason, label text (slope, point level etx) is not showing up on one surface but the other surface has no issue with this and all shows up. Could anyone suggest whats wrong with this (is it the way the surface has been created).

 

1) One surface created from detailed point survey

2) The other one created via contours

PS . I have tried creating the same drawing in civil 3d 2013 no joy either.

Please post your drawing. Might be easier to diagnose.

Thanks for your reply dave.

 

Please see the attached as requested.

 

The surface in the drawing is the one i am having problem with regards to label texts. The other surface created via contrours is too large to post but i will try and post it.

The "C-Surfaces-Existing Ground" layer is turned off. Turning it on, followed by a REGEN, allows the slope labels to display.

Jeff is right. I had no problem putting a slope label on your C-Existing Ground Surface after I turned on that layer:
