.shp files

Importing .shp files into new drawing using MAPWSPACE but a couple files are no where near the rest.  Coordinate files are all the same.  Any suggestions?  Is there any other way to import .shp files?

Try the MAPIMPORT command.

Check how far off they are - is it something where Map is "misreading" the coordinate projection and giving you meters vs feet?  if so, edit the coordinate system from "data connect" and pick the corresponding CS (m vs ft) to see if this works.

Thanks.  Yeah a couple were set to meters.  Mapimport also worked great.
