I need to show an undercut bank of a creek in my profile and cross section view. We all know Civil 3D won't build it if my alignment line crosses over it's self. Any ideas how to get around this and show the existing undercut in both profile and cross section view?

I'm not sure I understand what you mean. I get how using multiple surfaces will show the undercut, but can I use more than 1 surface for my profile and cross section view? I don't want to plot this out by hand.
