Shift not working?

My shift key is not working in Civil 3D? When I want to remove something from a selection set I hold shift to remove it and it does not work? Or if I go to do Copy clip etc...

RIght click on your command line select options and go to the selection tab and look at your selection modes.

It is not Nown/Verb or Shift to add... it is somehting else...

Been using AutoCAD for a while, was a AE for four years teaching / supporting it. Never seen Shift drop out like this...

Possibly the PICKADD or the PICKFIRST system variables need resetting.

1. Re Boot

Yes I should have restarted first thing know that is what I tell my users to do...

But that was not it, it was the PICKADD I set it to 0 then back to 2 and that fixed it. Must have been some lisp somewhere blown out and left it hanging...

Thanks Bill
