Settings for US Survey Feet

Is there a way to permanently set a new drawing to open in US Survey feet when I open Civil3d from the desktop icon?

I know how to change it in the settings, but I have office techs that have forgetten the small but important step.

You set this in your template file.

If you are talking about in your survey database, then there is a different operation to have it set to US Foot all the time.  Otherwise, do what wfberry posted.  If it's the survey database you are referring to, then post on here and I will tell you how to do that.

To further elaborate on what WFBerry said.

Once you have a tempate set to US Survey Feet,

Go to Options, Templates QNEW and make your drawing template the default.

This will load your template any time you start C3D or create a new drawing.

Just to let you know. You can edit the desktop Icon to open a specific Profile, Template and Workspace.
