type AECVersion in the command line and it will print out a list of the
aecmodules.
Look for this:
CompanyName: Autodesk, Inc.
FileDescription: AeccBase DBX
FileVersion: 7,0,1387,0
LegalCopyright: © Autodesk, Inc. 1998-2009. All rights reserved.
1387 is the current version for SP2

On my splash screen big red autocad is on the left, and above that it
only says who is it licensed to and what is the serial number. Nothing
about version.
So SP2 is not installed?
