Service Pack 1 Update

Hi All - Here's the latest on the Civil 3D Service 1. We are targeting availability (web download) for sometime next week (Week of Jan 12-16). The Service Pack will address stability issues throughout the product. It also adds some new capabilities that reflect requests that we've seen here on the NG and from other customers who have been actively evaluating the first release of the product. The SP will be a downloadable patch that you'll apply to you're pre-existing installations. There is no plan to send updated installations out to customers who already have Civil 3D. However, those who recieve new products beginning in early Feb will recieve SP1 media. On a related note, we are planning a new weekly web-based meeting series for Civil 3D starting on Jan 16 (2004!). This first session will focus on the details of Service Pack 1. Future sessions will touch on product details, adoption issues, user case studies, white papers, and anything else that will help you move toward being productive with Civil 3D. Please reserve an hour on Fridays (noon EST). We'd love to have you join us. Also, feel free to send me any topics that you'd like to see us cover. See you there! Audience Information for Civil 3D Weekly Update Topic: Civil 3D SP1 Launch Time: Fri, 16 Jan 2004, 12:00 PM Eastern Standard Time (EST) Duration: 60 minutes Meeting URL (Address): http://www.placeware.com/cc/autodesklearning/A?id=Civil%203D%20-%20SP1&pw=89 9666 Audio Information: Dial: 888-769-8517 Leader: Dave Simeone Pass: Civil 3D

For some reason the URL wrapped (the numbers 9666 should be part of the URL). Hopefully this one shows up properly.
