Selection settings - erasing, copying, triming, etc..

Hey folks...

At some point my Autocad decided to change itself... I can no longer do things such as erasing, copying, etc, by selecting multiple lines, etc., WITHOUT holding the shift key.

So if I want to erase several lines, I pick one and then have to hold the shift key down.  I don't like that.

what I want to do is select one line, then another, then another, one by one, WTIHOUT holding the shift key down.

I can't figure out how to get that to work, I feel like I have tried everything.

OPTIONS->Selection Tab->uncheck "Use Shift to add to selection".

Or, set PICKADD = 1

THANK YOU!!!!!!

Been driving me crazy!

I did try the way in options, for some reason it won't work.  My computer and autocad have issues and probably  need to start from scratch by removing and reloading the program.

I aprpeciate it!!
