Save Current Map to AutoCAD

Trying to use this option in C3D2012 but just get

Command: _maptoacad Unknown command "MAPTOACAD".  Press F1 for help.

Is this another command that hasn't made it from the standalone version of Map 3D???

Strange... try just typing in "MAPTOACAD".

When I try it here, using the ribbon button does not work, but typing it in works just fine.

Aha... To get your button working again, go the CUI editor and in Partial Customization Files>PLANNINGANALYSIS>Ribbon>Tabs>Output>Output - Map Data Transfer, then select "Save Current Map to AutoCAD" and change the Macro to ^C^C_MAPTOACADUSELINEWEIGHT

Or, I imagine adding an alias "maptoacad" mapped to "maptoacaduselineweight" should work as well.

Thanks - I've just done that and it makes no difference, there is no wizard that is supposed to appear etc.

Have tried _mapexportcurrentmaptodwg (which was on the ribbon button from 2011) and that seems to work......hold on it doesn't work if I click the toolbar button though but runs from the command line......

Another support request coming on.........

there is a right click some where in MAPWSPACE (not in front of it just now) that works perfectly - pity about the Ribbon though.....

....it's because "Map 3D Lite" is included in C3D:smileyhappy:

I'm having the same problem. So this will not work with civil 3d 2014?

I have the command but don't get the wizard and can't export blocks.

Help!

In 2018 the button on the ribbon doesn't work at all, and entering _mapexportcurrentmaptodwg works only with a dialogue box where you specify file location only.

I tried _maptoacad and it works!
