Sanitary Sewer modelling problem

Hi I am going to model one of the previous sanitary sewer network that has calculated by spreadsheet (and 100% is correct) But whatever I am trying to reach to those information I can't !! Attached shows my pipe network, I use the network drawing as Xref (red color) and white texts shows my model info that totally are different. Please let me know which part I have missed. Thanks Hamid

I would like to have a civil3d model of my previous work that I did by a spreadsheet.

I have attached the drawings to be used as Xref .

I don't know how can I come up with the cover and slopes indicated in the Xref.

Thanks

Hamid

I am not aware of any way to import the spreadsheet you did.

you can enter the values you want at each mh, or the pipes.

Others may use the programs san and storm design, and may have a better answer. I still use a spreadsheet for design since it must be in a specific format for submissions.

Could you please provide me step by step design of a simple sanitary sewer (separated) network with 3pipes and 4 manhole in a shape like (Y) ,please?
I know the followings:
1-by having a surface , I indicate manhole locations
2-I get manhole elevations from surface.
...... thanks

I'm not sure what you mean by separated

create pipe network by layout.

Draw pipes and structures

click on pipe or structure, right click and select pipe (or structure) properties.

You can assign pipe or structure information through there.

If wrong pipe or structure size, swap part to select the correct one.

If wrong location, click mh and drag the proper location.

You can set rim elevation of mh. toggle elevation from surface to false.

Thanks
totally there are 2 different types of sanitary networks:
combined with stormsewer and separated.
-where is toggle elevation from surface to false?
-how can I come up with max/min cover at rules comand?
I sent max/min cover to 2 and 6 , but after drawing or apply rule I will have 10 m cover for some manholes!

Structure properties - rim elevation

you would be better off designing your inverts based on site. set your lowest and highest inverts and design the rest accordingly.

We have not designed combined sewers in years. Not sure what to tell you for that part.

You may want to check out the tutorials. They will help you understand the pipe and structure behaviors.
