So I'm sure I'm missing something really easy, but when I create my surface legend table from my TIN Volume surface, it gives me two decimal places for Volume, Min and Max Elevation. I went into Settings/Surface/Table Styles/Elevation/Elevation and couldn't find the place to increase or decrease decimal places on the output table.
I'm sure it's an easy fix, but I'm a little stumped on this one.
I'll attach a screenshot of the table I'm working on as an example.
Thanks!

Solved! Go to Solution.
You need to edit the table style for that column. Under the Data Properties tab, double click on the Column Value field under the Volume column. Click on the volume code in the preview window. That will bring up the properties. Set the precision and click the right arrow to replace the volume code. Click ok to back out of the editor, and ok again. Should be good to go.
You were in the right place.

sorry to barge in here, but i was just editing an elevation table, and want to learn if there is a way to change the title of the table. that is, its currently Elevations Table, and i would like it to read something different!
possible?
thanks!
In the table style, just double-click on Elevation Table to edit.
Don: Thanks for taking the time to show everything with screen shots...makes so much more sense!
I know why it didn't work, I had been trying to edit the number field instead of max or Min elevation. the number field doesn't let you change precision.
Thanks to everybody on this! Putting this in my evernote Autocad tips, cause by the time I need to do it again, I'm sure it will be out of the brain.
