rounding off grades

any way to smooth out my grades to be more rounded, as opposed to sharp angles. I just can't seem to find the correct setting.

I've seen worse. We staked a bullnose curb. Set PC POC PT & RP. All had grades and Cut/Fill. Admittedly we blew the Cut/Fill on the POC. All else was correct. Of course the mason only used the POC. The curb was formed and poured before anyone called and said that something looked peculiar. The curb climbed above the grade of the rest of the lot like the end of a ski-jump.

Now we did make an error. But no even checked the other stakes or looked at the forms and thought "something's wrong here" Sometimes I wonder.

You may have noticed I was particularly mindful of not pointing fingers at the surveyor Smiley Surprised

Everyone makes mistakes. This was one of the very few that left the office I used to work in. But we never assumed anything we got was correct either. Everything coming in or going out was checked.
