ribbon and panels not loaded

Opened up my Civil 3D this morning and this is what i got.

The Ribbon does not have any tabs or panels currently loaded.

What is your main menu?  It should be "Civil" (C3D.Cuix), unless you've done some customization that could cause this to not be the case.

I've seen the menu get corrupted on some machines in the past.

If it appears the correct Civil menu is in place, you might try a restore.

I found the cd3.cuix but it says the file has been renamed or deleted. i
renamed this cd3orig.cuix
I found a cd3.bak.cuix and renamed it cd3.cuix. I typed in cui in the dwg
and found loaded the renamed one and it shows up on thr cui now but when i
push apply it still does'nt bring up the ribbons. Just not sure how to get
the machine to use the cd3.cuix

Make sure that one of the workspaces within the CUIX file is set as current.
