Can I reverse the direction of an existing horizontal alignment line in C3d 2011?
Try typing
AeccReverseAlignDirection
at the command line. It use to be in the alignment menu not sure where it is on ribbon.

On the ribbon just click on the alignment you want to change and the Alignment tools tab appears, from that click Modify > Reverse Direction.
Your welcome, the ribbon in 2011 is much better than before.
Just reversed an alignment using this tool, worked great.
My questions is, design profiles created 'by layout' do not update using the alignment reverse tool? Makes sense, but there doesn't appear to be a reverse tool on the ribbon when a profile is selected like there is for an alignment as you show in your screen capture. Do you know of a way to reverse a profile or have any other suggestions?
Thank you.
To revserse the profile I have in the past copied the profile geometry from the geometry editor into Excel subtracted
the total chaninage off the wrong chainage and time by -1. Then from excel exported a profile txt file in the format
described in the Civil3d help under "Format Requirements of Profile Files" and imported it back into civil3d. There maybe a better way now that some one knows but this got the job done for me.
