Render a feature/3dpoly line

Does anybody know how I can render a feature or 3d poly line? I have some paint striping that I turned into feature lines to bring them to proper grade. Now I would like to render them. Is this possible?

thanks,
rick

OK, so the AU class where I saw Michael do a site rendering, including
pavement markings was called:

Digging Deeper into Civil & Site Visualization with
Autodesk® Civil 3D® and VIZ Render 2006

by Michael Choquette, P.E. - IMAGINiT Technologies

And it was recorded and the white paper can be found by registering at

http://auonline.mentorware.net

It took everything out to VIZRender, but I am assuming that a lot of these
tools are built into base AutoCAD in 2007, or at least could be approximated
in C3D 2007 using the AutoCAD rendering tools.

It was one slide in the presentation. No comments were made during the slide. It appears that it needed a "renderable spline modifier" that was part of vizrender. Can't seem to find anything like that in C3D 2007. Any other suggestions?

thanks,
rick

If you're going to do this very often at all, you owe it to yourself to
check out Natan's stuff at www.rdvsystems.com. They have slick rendering and
presentation software for engineer level presentations. Not necessarily the
stuff you throw out at a hostile P&Z, but good and quick stuff.
